Naples, Fl – David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health (DLC), Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit behavioral health provider serving children, adults and families, announced that the DLC Advocates will host their 9th Annual Sunset Cruise presented by title sponsor Purpose Journey on June 16, 2022 aboard the Naples Princess at 550 Port O Call Way. Boarding begins at 6:00 p.m. with the cruise taking place from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The wildly popular event often sells out, filling with anyone with a passion for supporting mental health awareness and helping others. The two-hour cruise along Naples Bay will feature a fun, festive atmosphere, live music by Sprout, a photobooth and a raffle. Guests will also enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drinks and a priceless encore performance of a beautiful Naples sunset. Guests are encouraged to dress in nautical attire.

The DLC Advocates Sunset Cruise is their signature fundraiser and has been on a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. Sadly, mental illness, suicide and addiction – issues that were already at an all-time high – are now more prevalent as a result of the lasting psychological impacts of the pandemic, and funds raised from this event are critical now more than ever. All proceeds from DLC Advocates events benefit the mission, operations, and expansion of DLC’s community-based prevention and treatment programs that help the 1-in-5 local children and adults who experience psychological, emotional and substance use challenges.

Tickets are $65 person and include one raffle ticket and one drink ticket. Guests who bring in a donation of art therapy supplies, will receive an additional five raffle tickets.
