DLC Young Executives to Host 7th Annual Chip in for DLC Golf Tournament
Naples, Fl – David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health (DLC), Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit behavioral health provider serving children, adults and families, will host the Seventh Annual Chip in for DLC Golf Tournament on Friday, October 23, 2020 at the beautiful and exclusive Quail Creek Golf and Country Club, located at 13300 Valewood Drive in Naples.
The lunch and registration begin at 11:30 a.m., with tee-off set for 1 p.m. Guests will enjoy a beautiful, feel-good fall afternoon while supporting DLC’s life-saving, life-changing mental health and substance use treatment services – which are in greater demand now more than ever during this pandemic.
The tournament will be played in an 18-hole scramble with four-person teams. Participants who enter as individuals will be placed on a team. Immediately following the tournament will be a casual awards cocktail reception, where spouses, guests and other non-golfers are welcome to join in on the festivities.
Individual players are $250 per person and teams are $1,000 per foursome. Individual player fees include green fees and a cart, lunch and the awards cocktail reception. Awards cocktail reception only tickets are $50 per person. In addition, golfers will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of raffles, skills challenges and a putting contest.
All proceeds will benefit the mission, operations, and expansion of DLC’s innovative, comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based prevention and treatment services.
“It is anticipated that the need for mental health and addiction treatment services will continue to increase as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and therefore, funds raised at the Chip in for DLC Golf Tournament will help ensure more people can access the care they need to get through this crisis,” said Scott Burgess DLC President and CEO. “DLC relies on community support to help fund uncompensated care for those without an ability to pay, especially individuals impacted by this economic and health crisis. We look forward to seeing returning, and new, golfers this fall at this important mission-funding event.”
The health and safety of golfers and guests is a top priority. Strict COVID-19 preparedness plans will be in place throughout the tournament and will follow CDC Guidelines. Time adjustments may be made to adhere to CDC guidelines and will be updated on ChipInforDLC.org.
The event is being co-chaired by DLC Young Executives’ Board Members Peter Michaels and Joseph Stusek.
