Free Community Support Groups for Coping After Irma
Not all of the damage from Irma is visible to the naked eye.
Are you or someone you love struggling with the emotional and psychological impacts of Hurricane Irma? You are not alone. Natural disasters are traumatic, sudden, and overwhelming–oftentimes leaving survivors feeling helpless, shocked, depressed, anxious and alone. Support groups are a very effective way to facilitate healing and recovery after the storm.
David Lawrence Centers is offering Community Support Groups next week to help our community with the healing process. These groups are free-of-charge and intended to offer support and a sense of community and connection to attendees. Please join us, share your experience, and gain valuable insight about coping after a natural disaster. Times and locations are listed below. And please share this with friends and family who are struggling. We want to help.
