Don’t you just love a celebration? So do I and we are busy planning the 50th Anniversary of David Lawrence Centers .

And you’re invited! We want the entire community to join us in marking this milestone. It’s a big deal . . . and I’m not just talking about our facility. I’m referring to the thousands of lives that have been touched over these five decades . . . lives that were once down and out, only to find help and hope and healing. Changed lives.

Like the 30-something man who came to us with serious addiction issues after multiple run-ins with law enforcement. He went through our Crossroads Addiction Recovery program, including detox and residential treatment, where his severe depression and anxiety were uncovered. With effective care, treatment, and medication, he successfully completed treatment, found full-time work, and got married. He gained not only sobriety, but quite likely his life, and an abundant one at that. Now he’s giving back to DLC, volunteering as a mentor to men who are facing the same challenges he had.

Thanks to your support, those kinds of stories happen all the time at David Lawrence Centers . And they’re the stories we’re celebrating throughout the next year and beyond.

We’ll be active in the community, spreading the word about our work. I want you to join us, not just for the celebration, but in telling people about the hope that DLC brings to Collier County and Southwest Florida.
