Naples, Fl – David Lawrence Centers (DLC), Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit mental health and addiction recovery treatment center serving children, adults and families, announced the Center has once again earned the Family Friendly Business certification by Collier Child Care Resources (CCCR), a private, non-profit agency whose main focus surrounds the education of young children, and provides professional development services to early childhood teachers and professionals. DLC has received this honor for the last 18 years.

DLC was among more than 70 local businesses honored at the Family Friendly Business Awards Luncheon hosted at the Hilton Naples. For the past 20 years, the Family Friendly Business Awards program has acknowledged local businesses that put family first. Businesses that offer benefits to assist employees in raising their children–such as flex time, health insurance or childcare reimbursement—are eligible to be recognized as a Family Friendly Business.

“A growing number of businesses are developing family-friendly policies to reduce friction between family and work responsibilities,” said Niccole Howard, CCCR Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer. “Ultimately, these policies help companies attract and retain top talent. As a society, we are learning that what is good for families is good for business.”
