DAVID LAWRENCE CENTER PROMOTES TWO DIRECTORS TO EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT TEAM

Naples, Fl – The David Lawrence Centers, Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit mental health and substance use treatment facility serving children, adults and families, is pleased to announce new executive leadership in response to the retirement of Chief Operating Officer Bonne Fredeen who left her post after a 23-year career with the Center. After an internal and external search, two highly qualified internal leaders have been promoted to fill two newly created positions. Sharie Boscaglia will serve as Chief Administrative Officer and Nancy Dauphinais, LMHC will serve as Chief Clinical Officer effective March 7, 2016.

Sharie Boscaglia has served as a Director and Administrator for more than 15 years during her tenure with David Lawrence Centers most recently serving as Quality Improvement and Program Support Director. In her new role she will continue to lead her current areas of responsibility which include Risk Management, Quality Management, Corporate Compliance, Organizational Performance Improvement, Information Technology, Clinical Records and Program Support and will now additionally manage Staff Development and Human Resources.

Sharie joined David Lawrence Centers as an administrator in Outpatient Services. She was then promoted to Practice Manager for Outpatient Services and later to Director of Clinical Records and Support Services before assuming her current responsibilities.

Scott Burgess, CEO states, “As an administrative senior leader, Sharie has already been managing complex operational issues including our electronic medical record and data systems, workflow issues and access to care issues. She is an excellent and experienced choice to assume the additional executive management responsibilities.”

Prior to joining David Lawrence Centers, she served as a Park Ranger and Senior Park Ranger with the Collier County Parks and Recreation Department. She earned a bachelor’s of science in fisheries and wildlife from Michigan State University.

In 2013, Share was recognized as the David Lawrence Centers Administrator of the Year.

Nancy Dauphinais has been a rising clinical star and program administrator with the David Lawrence Centers for the last 10 years most recently serving as the Clinical Director of the Crossroads Adult Substance Abuse Continuum. As Chief Clinical Administrator, Nancy will have oversight of all clinical programming and be charged with leading efforts, in great partnership with the Center’s senior Clinical Directors, toward further advancement of evidence-based care. She will also be working to advance opportunities associated with expanding clinical services as well as enhancing continuity across the Center’s care system. In addition to her new responsibilities, Nancy will continue to provide oversight of the Crossroads continuum.

Dauphinais began her career with the David Lawrence Centers in 2005 as a Behavioral Health Technician in Acute Care Services. She was quickly promoted to an Emergency Services Clinician where she screened, assessed and triaged clients in crisis. Prior to her newest promotion to Clinical Director, Nancy served as the Crossroads Clinical Supervisor. In this position, she assisted in the coordination of the intake process and the implementation of evidence-based strategies to improve outcomes as well as patient satisfaction. As a member of the David Lawrence Centers speaker’s bureau, Nancy also routinely provides educational presentations on a variety of mental health and substance use topics.

Due to her outstanding performance, professionalism and commitment to clients, Nancy was honored with the 2010 Direct Service Provider of the Year Award, the 2012 Leadership Award, the 2014 Employee of the Year Award and the 2014 Administrator of the Year.

Dauphinais earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Duke University where she graduated magna cum laude and her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University where she also graduated with honors. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Master’s Level Certified Addiction Professional and a Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida.

Dauphinais is an active member of the NAADAC—The Association for Addiction Professionals, Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association, American Mental Health Counselors Association and Gulf Coast Mental Health Counselors, Inc.
