DAVID LAWRENCE CENTER PROMOTES FRANCES CROWLEY TO CLINICAL SUPERVISOR
Naples, Fl – The David Lawrence Centers, Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit mental health and substance use treatment facility serving children, adults and families, is pleased to announce the promotion of Frances Crowley to Clinical Supervisor.
Crowley has worked at the David Lawrence Centers since 2009 as a Children’s Clinician in Community Services where she provided therapeutic behavioral onsite services. In her new position as Clinical Supervisor, Crowley will supervise a team of clinicians who provide therapeutic behavioral onsite services and wrap-around services for children ages 5-18 years old. In addition to serving as a Clinical Supervisor, she will provide direct clinical care to adults throughout the state of Florida through the Center’s new TeleHealth program which is an innovative approach to deliver convenient, web-based behavioral health services using a HIPAA compliant, secure, online mental health counseling platform.
Crowley has over 12 years of experience as a licensed clinician working with children, teens, adults, families and seniors. She has over twenty years of experience working with children and families in child welfare services. She has worked in community mental health agencies, public schools in Collier and Lee County, a psychiatric ward, and a private psychiatric practice. She has experience with the treatment of childhood disorders, anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder, as well as assisting with parenting issues.
Crowley is a licensed mental health counselor. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Phillips University in Oklahoma and her Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University. Her specialties include cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral analysis techniques, mindfulness techniques, and has certification for induced hypnotherapy.
